Check in

Our inventory clerk will complete the inventory and then check the tenants in. Checking in will consist of the clerk meeting the tenants at the property and going through the findings of the inventory with the tenants.

They will then sign the Schedule of Condition, which is a summary of the condition of the property. Once the tenant receives the inventory and check-in report, they will have 7 days to put forward any amendments.

Although not recommended, the inventory can be done in advance and separately from the check in, however, you want the report to be accurate so it should be done as close to check in as possible. Also, the cost would increase as it involves attending the property on two separate occasions.
